1. As with any type of art project, you must first gather all the needed
materials. The main material for your party hat creation activity would
be paper plates. Be sure to buy enough in accordance with the number of
guests you expect. You can also have an extra few paper plates for
mistakes you might make or for unexpected guests that you will not have
to run short of your main material.
2. Gather all the materials on your work table. This can save you time
as it allows you to work systematically. Be sure to have not just paper
plates but also other art or home materials like colored paper, pairs of
scissors, glue and paste, different colored ribbons, glitters, stickers,
light cardboard boxes, crayons or watercolor, and such. Keep them all
within easy reach of your working area.
3. You can now start working on the party hat base. You can take one
paper plate and fold it into a cone shape. Tape or glue the edges so you
